scratch built car.

I used one day of my 'study leave' days ;D to build a rc car chassis. Used plywood. no plans .
I think this is the first thread about scratch building of a rc car ;D..

materials used

plywood.

screw driver lever as axle ;D.

ball bearings.

pvc pipes..

planning to use a belt instead of gear ...

I couldn't install the electronic components because papa has hid everything.. :banghead:

EXAMS..
Today papa was out and I started building this  ;)..

Manu..its a nice news to hear..your work inspired me a lots..and time to think to make a car from scratch..please finish your car as early as possible once..it will be a great inspiration to us all..and from your photographs, it seems very proportional..go for an ECM, or can make one with CD Drive..will drift on floor.. (:|~

mounting of servo motor and main motor is remaining. Will do it by this weekend.

Thank you pankaj sir. i will have my 12th exam through out  march. Not able to continue my build.

I don't know why and how the thought of exams make me more productive at RCing, I had scratch built one of my fastest electric cars during my exam time too.  :giggle:

Lolz... same thing here...
I have exams every weekend ( Saturday, Sunday and Monday)... final exams are in march so some time is still there...
Eagerly waiting for them to get over so that my parents will buy me some electronics...
Meanwhile I have constructed 4 planes that just need electronics to fly
