Title: Short film-Thundertiger MT4G3
Post by: rcimpulse on October 04, 2013, 03:30:55 AM
Guys it's been 2 months and about 6 lipo runs of my near bullet proof MT4G3 and all I have to say is it's been sheer pleasure. It's been sitting in my car boot with stock plus truggy tires that I snap on depending on terrain. From unbloxing to loctite to the so called running in.  :salute:
I have driven it in several locations and even got myself a gopro hero 3 to capture moments. It has actually made me sit down for a few hours and put together a video patiently. I have used ez vid a free software to make a not so short film :giggle:which I hope you guys can enjoy and give me tips on how to shoot better
It was not until recently that I accidentally crashed into a stone and broke a shock absorber.  :banghead: none the less fixing it means reading about upgrades or better shock oil which I would leave to the experts for advice. In the mean time I might super glue the broken part and give it a bash    ??? Experts any advice ?

Superglue won't hold.

Does it feel like it needs more damping? In that case, you can try out heavier oil. You will obviously need to replace the oil in all the 4 shocks.

I am so sorry have not posted a link because the video was too long. Have decided to make a shorter video when tome permits and will post it. Too many large go pro files to edit.

I must add the repair cost for the careless accident was RS 250 for "shocks plastic parts spare" which I feel is pretty reasonable. Includes several other plastic spares. :) another reason to love the MT4G3 is cheap and locally available spare parts.
