I really don't see the point of a rally car when there's already a Slash on the same chassis.. The changes can easily be accommodated in a Slash or Revo just as well.. Either ways, its Traxxas.. SO ITS AWOSME! :D
There is a point
Rally is OnRoad street car....
I might sound foolish for saying a car named rally to be on road car, but this one reeli is..!
Look at the suspension details.
Anyways looks like the best traxxas ever seen
But i would have really liked it if they would have gone for full aluminum.
I dont know why these dicks make 1/16. i dont think a lot many people buy a 16th scale car up here in india
Why is there no link back to the official source, which hopefully has some pictures too ? :)

I am posting a direct pic for those in hurry

Oh sorry.Too lazy to post pics.I was on the laptop.Anyways, thanks for doing it Arpit.
Even I thought exactly what Divyam and Arpit said, all these changes can be made on a mini slash or mini e revo. And no point in calling it a rally car when it cannot do serious offroading.
And Arpit,I guess they make the 1/16 th scale because they are the only good minis.Others aren't great when compared to traxxas.
A pattern I have seen is,Traxxas makes a new car,everyone else follows.(Happened with the slash).And also,these design guys are lazy,MAKE SOMETHING NEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reminds me of Porsche.Almost all of their cars look the same. The 911,the Boxster, the Cayman.
i politely disagree to Gandhar at one note.
atleast this time there is a new design, an entirely new one which we haven't seen before. and look at it , its not a buggy, not a stadium truck, not a monster truck, not a touring car,
its an entirely new class of RC cars--Rally Cars
but yes its only its name that matches a rally car, nothing else
I guess it is just called a rally car.It doesn't do serious off rading like a 'rally car' is meant to do.
Eitherways,it will be a good on road car and a good drifter. Here is the official video from traxxas.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxB9Gh9d-xQ
Its definitely got pretty good tires and shell
Looks like a drifter for the most part !
tires on this things are surely not drift tires, but i dont think it can do anything other than drifts..!
In short This car is CRAP
i dont think a lot many people will buy this car in india.
Might not be crap but a cheaper alternative to drift cars.I'd say,;et us not jump the gun.As far as sales in India go,once we get on raod tracks,it might be a good beginner option.
it would obviously expensive than a lot of vehicles that beginners prefer(rustler,slash2wd)
also i dont think anyone will buy it up here in india because its gonna be impossible for everyone to find a road track near them, also most of the things that you can do with it can be better done with a buggy / truggy
It might be a hit in US but not here, its just personal opinion
That is very true Arpit.Lets hope someone makes an road track to give access to another side of rc car racing.I believe we do have an on road track at Pitstop in Bangalore.
Definately not CRAP. Please avoid such statements. The car is based on the Mini ERevo. But certainly not going to be popular in India. Just doesnt make sense.
that was my opinion from the indian market's point of view.
i hope you dont mind that

Accepted and agree. India is not a great market for this. Onroads have sold poorly here.

Dont agree. I can call a Himoto or Sinyin, CRAP, but certainly not this.
Sad that on-road racing has not developed in India :(.It is quite fun from the videos I have seen.
As far as the rally goes,it should work well with the fans of on-road minis. It brings the fun of the mini e revo platform to the on-road platform. And it will use the revo suspension where it is meant to be,on-road.Since it comed from F1,it should work well on road.
Sales in India might not look good.
It will be more fun if they make it in 1/10.
thats what i said, 1/10 are more fun, even the ground clearence on a 1/10 rally would have been enough to tackle indian roads in good condition
Its a great product with a proven platform, might not be a hit in India but definately not CRAP!!!!
Call me a fool, but i have preordered the Ken Block version.
BTW we are in the process of finalising an onroad track at the RadiCo sports arena in mumbai.
definitely a good buy if an on road track is available, but if youv' got shit like indian roads to run a traxxas rally on it, i'l still say it crap no matter who u r
@siddarth----no offense to what u said.
