Hello Asif,

I am Dharmesh and I also am from Hyderabad and I also use Rapicon for my car as of now. I used to use local mix / home brew earlier but not anymore. Now i prefer Rapicon.

I have tried 10%, 16% and 25% also.

I have also seen planes and heli's using the local mix and then moving to Rapicon and the result.

PM me or call me if you want to know more.....

Cheers....

and of course JH, given the rapport, can't be sure if it is contaminated though.

I have used Rapicon 10%, 16% and 25% and all purchased from Jacks Hobbies in Hyderabad.

The fuel is very good and definitely cheap compared to what I used to pay earlier and even compared to ordering and getting Tornado shipped to me.

The fuel burns better, the engine is cleaner, about 80% less gumming. This is my opinion.

Contamination of Rapicon fuel purchased from Jacks Hobbies? I don't think so.

Rotorol is dead for cars, Rapicon has too less lube, 9%..... Most engine makers say 10-11% lube. Importer didnt even care to check with the active car guys on which fuel to get before importing.

So its Tornado for car guys till something better comes up.

+1 for Ajo's comment. Rapicon is a good fuel but the engine bearings have to upgraded to ceramic due to the less oil content. Only competition fuel comes with 9% lube..

Tornado is a safe choice for now..

Rotorol used to be great but due to variation in fuel quality we stopped buying it.
