Hai Guys

I Have a question... Can we use a lipo for a roto starter?????

If the voltage matches, yes. The roto start needs a 7.2V battery.

i have a 2s 2200mah can it be used???

traxxrc1

but  you need to connect a lipo cut off otherwise your lipo can get over discharged
I'll be back.

Sreedhar

could you give me some specifications perhaps a link or so????

Buying a NIMH is more cheaper than that i think..... are there any other options?/?

traxxrc1

this one is good, i have used it on my phoenix stII
I'll be back.

traxxrc1

go for a NiCd of around 15C discharge and 2000 or more mah, cheapest, provides same discharge of nimh, way more cheaper than anything
I'll be back.

traxxrc1

for which car are you thinking all this??
why not go for a pullstart..provides a real feel
I'll be back.

traxxrc1

i have the option of both pull start and hex start<rotostart> on my losi lxt xxl but i prefer the pull because it is nice and makes me feel having a powerful tougher car
I'll be back.

Phoenix St2 doesnot require a lipo cut off its in build into it.. can you provide me a link of NICD?? I am purchasing  HPI MT2 from tower they have only rotostart.

Simple, get a 7.2v 2000mah battery from any indian hobby shop, dont break your head for this.

hmmm

I wanted to try some thing new......

traxxrc1

thank you sreedhar for your information,
but the older st 2 which came with the 2ch AM radio had the esc without lipo cutoff(the one with red and white sticker)
the new ones have a cutoff built into it(THE ONES WITH A RED SILVER STICKER)

I AM STILL NOT VERY SURE BUT I THINK SO
I'll be back.

Mr. Ajo is absolutely right,(atleast he agrees to my opinion for the first time)
I'll be back.
