More about my MERV,

I'm running Traxxas Power Cell 2*2S 2200 MAH 25C Lipo's in parallel.
My running is mostly 50% smooth tarmac and 50% loose dirt, grass (mostly) etc.
The gearing is stock. I've also upgraded the shock springs to black (front) & pink (rear). the stock springs are crap and should be upgraded immediately, the car used to squat during hard acceleration, turns and used to affect handling a lot but after the spring upgrades it handles very well. i've also swapped the stock traxxas talon tyres to dirt hawgs, they give about 1/2 inch more to ground clearance...helps when i'm gunning in the grass  .
The motor used to heat up a lot earlier but after the heat sink upgrade it is much cooler now. Any future or current MERV owners, please upgrade to
RPM arms and bumpers ASAP for added protection and less down time....just my suggestion 

Overall i'm very impressed by this little truck (i also own a savage XS) and it runs with attitude !!!!

Grt upgrades... I too own a e-revo brushless but with a Mamba Monster setup.
From where did you purchase the upgrades?
Have you tried e-revo wth 3s LiPO ??

you mean your setup is mamba max pro right ?? mamba monster is 1/8th scale and would not fit on the
1/16 e revo vxl.

haven't tried 3S yet but have a 3S battery already in cart at amainhobbies with some other stuff, gonna order it next week.
2S is fast enough, let's see what 3S does !!
