Any suggestions as where to buy shock absorber oils like 800cst/60w, bearing lubricant, diff./ transmission oil-grease for RC cars locally (LHS) as well as import. Affordable n reliable source links would be much appreciated.

I found JRH and dogboneracing.com selling some locally, but nothing apart from that search. Will try to check at model art outlet later.

JRH has nearly everything you need. I believe ARE Hobbies out of Ahmedabad has some supplies.

If you oil bearings, singer machine oil is perfect. You can get bearing grease locally if you prefer grease.

If you're looking for an alternative to Team Associated Green Slime, check out Noleen SF3 grease. I haven't found it yet. Let me know if you get it. It helps reduce O-ring "stiction" and helps them seal better.

For online retailers, Amain Hobbies is a reputed one.

I need oil for bearing, shockers and grease for differential, transmission. It's for a 1/16 scale model, so I need proper RC / high speed quality product.

Thanks mate for the reply, appreciate it

If you're running off-road, grease is better. I used SKF lithium grease for my bearings and they worked well in a super dusty environment, no seizing.

Try getting grease with additives to avoid fling. I use lithium grease for my pinion gears on my driveline but I'm not sure how well it works. I'm on the look for a replacement as well. People say Mobil1 synthetic grease works well.

True, lithium grease is a good alternative, hv seen guys using black n even synthetic white Li grease as well. But my RC brearungs r too small,  n covered on sides by a rubber seal. I 'm looking for a very light petroleum based look lubricant for em. For  dust n water proofin I'm also gonna use  grease options.  Still can't use it on my differential, guys use heavy Li grease to lock or restrict thr differential . I don't want that for now
The recomended oils/ grease for my 1/16 model are
Shocks: 800cst -1000cst
Diff.: 30k-50k w
Breatimgs; any high speed -petroleum based  oil

Oiled bearings don't do well with dirt. Lithium grease is good enough.

To lube the diff ring gear, get a grease with resistance to fling. You can get diff and shock oils at the LHSes mentioned earlier.

I bought shock oil and diff gears from amainhobbies. The shipping was very impressive. It arrived within 25 days. For wheel bearing, you can find some from local hardware shops. I changed my bearing 2 years ago. Try to get some rubber sealed bearings otherwise you may messed up with dirt. Amain hobbies, dollar hobbies etc are selling great products. I bought shock oils for my team associated racing buggy. I'm using custom made shock oil using break fluid and engine oil in my bashing truck. It is just because of the lack of patience. I cant wait for 25 days more.
