Planning to buy a Maruti Hatchback Car for daily office purpose . I'm a little bit confuse between Swift & Baleno. 

My budget is 5-6 lakhs. Kindly suggest me your views?

Maruti Suzuki Swift
Ex-showroom Price ranges from the INR 4.80 – 7.46 Lakh
Mileage of Maruti Suzuki Swift:
Diesel: 25.2 kmpl
Petrol: 20.4 kmpl
Honda  City has 1.3-litre 16V DDiS Diesel Engine which produces 74bhp  of power and on the other hand it has 1.2-litre 16V K Series VVT petrol that makes 83.11bhp.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno
Ex-showroom Price ranges from the INR 5.27 – 8.68 Lakh
Mileage of Maruti Suzuki Baleno:
Diesel: 27.39 kmpl
Petrol: 21.4 kmpl
Maruti Suzuki Baleno has 1.3-litre 16V DDiS Diesel Engine which produces 74bhp  of power and on the other hand it has 1.0-litre 12V Boosterjet Petrol Engine that makes 100bhp.

After comparing both the hatchback, I will recommend you to go with Maruti Baleno.

For RC, you could go for a simple chassi and you can buy both swift and baleno body and use both body on the chassi . Costs around 30k . Go invest in stock market the remaining 5.7 lakhs. P.S. : This is not a joke.
