Hi all

I wanted to know is there any small circuit or regulator which can lower 24 volts to 12 volts.
I have found some bec's which can give constant, 6 volts max.
planning to connect two becs parallel, but some guys say it will not work.

wanted to connect a 3s recommended camera gimbal on 6s lipo.
Is there any other idea, other than using separate battery for gimbal ?

Connecting BEC in parallel will stay at 6v rather it will be able to supply more current.
There is a linear regulator 7812 for 12v and 7815 for 15v if needed.
But the losses are heavy for every 1A you draw you need to dissipate 12W of power. Efficiency of circuitry is just 45-50% if used with 22v.

Thanks reddy ans sathish.
will try to go with buc converter.

buck converter is a good idea.  But you also ve to consider the current factor.  usually buck converter output current is more. around 2amps. so before going for a buck first check out with the data sheet or any available technical info.
