Hi folks, I am involved with AeroIndia's 10th edition at Yelahanka airbase as a service provider. So almost a week's presence over there with lots of free time has gotten me the opportunity to click and record the awesome shows put up at the venue. I will be sharing pics and videos whenever possible either directly here or at this fb page.

These are the things uptill now. More coming soon ;)

:thumbsup: those wing walkers were totally awesome! I didn't realise it was a women team, until i saw a lady with the cat suit running towards the plane :bow:

Yea I saw It In News Too The Two Planes ( Red Bull Was the plane Name) Were A Little Bit of You know Got Damaged By getting Crashed With Each Other. I saw The Video On Aaj Tak Channel Really The Planes Going TO Crash Fully As One Plane Came In Other Plane's Way But Didn't Crash Fully.

Although I didn't see the mid-air collision happening, but realised something was wrong when one of the plane made a very quick, steep and short landing, that was a near crash in itself and stopped in the middle of the runway powerless.

Later heard that while performing a spiral roll [like in the pics below] the plane's wing-tip had an impact with the prop of another and as a result the prop was damaged and most possibly the plane made an emergency landing with less-or-no-power. Those pilots are uber-experienced and these incidents are pretty normal & natural to them, but a breaking-news for the media. A thorough FOD scan happened quickly and the runway was resumed for other flight displays and the day was a as usual - happening!

@mbsanoop, buddy don't even think about it.. 'come, watch, go back safe' should be the mantra, imo. The scale of the event is so huge and international to even think such things.

cant even imagine how much guts or foolishness is required to do these kind of stunts cant afford to watch it live i might chew my heart out >:D {:)}

shobhit17

Its neither too much of guts nor foolishness that Pilots do these stunts for.  It is because they have practiced these things so many times that they have confidence in them that such a thing can be done.  They are all highly experienced and know the pros and cons of doing these stunts......
Well I been into aeromodelling since I was in School....  and then been in the air for over 30 years.  Now looking to be back into aeromodelling full time...
