One would ever love the way HK positions it self in a business whose customers are divided between loyalty, price, innovation and low volume (compared to other hobbies at least, even in west). Today I saw this new 'Instant Discount" popup by HC where they actually profiled my repeated visit to an item I have yet not bought and offered instant discount of $2 (less than 1%, but still).

Its great to see they keep putting innovation in their portal to surprise customers and keep them attached.

That is clever marketing indeed   A $2 discount to entice you !

So if i keep hitting reload in my browser they'll keep cutting 2$ off the price??? he he he.. 

Its hard to retract, but eranestly, now its becoming irritating... I though they were doing some behavioral analysis to offer discount - the items I visit often. But it seems its a blunt pop-up. Thankfully they put a 'Close' button in the popup which was non-existent till yesterday...

anyway, if they offer $2-3 discount on half the items, better for us with rising USD prices in the past 2 weeks.
