Well If your not able to Contact Them By This Method Then Its tough Actually But Yes what you can do is now File a complaint as your item is sent to Domestic Location Many days Back But still you didn't get it. Just a file a complain And yes Note the Complain Number Too so you can track it later

carefull with aliexpress and alibaba.com, there are so many supplier selling Dji Phantom 2 vision plus for US $ 300-400 they all are scam, these sites ask you, your address and phone number then they give you account number and ask you to deposite the money. They are robber be carefull with those people.

Transaction is that Type Of mail I think so. You have to choose Registered Parcel in that. And then in Transaction Date the day it was Dispatched I think so and yes now further in the Transaction Office details you gotta select foreign then choose the country Where the parcel Is coming from And write some description about when did you buy this and when it was Dispatched and still you haven't received it yet it was sent to Domestic Location.
Then Select the Destination Post office that is yours.Then In Sender/Applicant Details you can use seller details. and The in receiver Details your details.

First Of all Welcome To The Forums. Well Now as your shipment is stuck in Customs Because of the reason Inappropriate Invoice. Well Don't worry It can be solved. As Now the Customs are demanding a Invoice ,Proof Of Purchase( Normally Invoice) and yes A covering why you have ordered it and all that things. Second Thing did you receive any letter from the Customs if not then you should receive it soon but then also If you don't receive it in Like more 1 to 2 days then Here are the Contact Details For Kolkata Customs :-

And Yes you can contact them surely. As you live in Kolkata after calling if the problems solves then its okay. because you will have to send the invoice and all other things by Letter to customs.

I have bought a refurbished iphone from aliexpress ,Valued $253.02  and $17.89 for EMS Shipping.Tracking number is EX012458898SG.Latest status is Retention reason : Inappropriate invoice.Seller has declared as MP3 Player value $20 as Gift.
I have not received any letter or phone calls from customs dept.If i tell them this is a MP3 player and someone was send it as a gift,so, i have no invoices at all,the customs dept. can open the box for identification?

I tried to call at kolkata foreign post they gave me several number to contact. But most of them are not working. And most of them are giving the same number. They don't even answer properly. 22480808, 22480809, 22480375, 22439576.
A guy pickd up and gave someone's personal number. Really frustrating, the way the management is.
Please help me.

@ Uparumugam, congrats that you finally got it cleared. You are lucky they didnt charge penalty on you which is minimum Rs.6000. they charged you with 42% duty and stocking charges only.

@Niftywiz, If your tracking status changes item send to domestic location then it will mean you will be charged with some duty and parcel is released. Wait for few days, if not, you will receive a letter from customs asking documents as invoice and payment details from you. They will surely open the parcel . dont make a mistake of calling it a gift unless you are sure that seller has not put any invoice or receipt inside the parcel.
