Hello guys. I have ordered laptop LCD display from ebay seller from UK on 11th aug. Price is 5000 for LCD and 1000rs for shipping through Royalmail. On Royal Mail website it is showing as 5-7 days for delivery. My tracking number is RU915022568GB, it's stuck with Mumbai customs from 4 days. How many days it will take to clear customs. And seller mentioned that the product comes directly from warehouse so there won't be any custom duty, is that true? Invoice is for the same value as I have paid and VAT is also shown seperately. Please help me with this

Normally customs will clear the items in 3 days but these days they are taking long time. Last month I got my parcel after being held at Mumbai customs for more than 10 days.

Few months ago I bought a $40 LCD monitor from ebay and I was charged with Rs 1200 customs duty. I got few other stuff worth below $25 and nothing was charged for that.

i thought i will get it by end of this week. Really 1200 for 40$ is a bit high, but i dont mind if i got it by end of this week. Did you track my status. And by the way what is the shipping method you opted for your items. And can i raise a complaint by calling royalmail, will there be any use

I choose free shipping with tracking option (extra $1 or $2). I've seen your tracking no. may be you will get it by this weekend or next week max.

Hi everyone.

Need ur advice regarding my parcel (Xbox One)which is stuck at mumbai custom office currently.
My brother purchased the xbox in US few months back and brought the same along with him while coming to India. Just after few days of use my Xbox stopped working and i had to send it back to US through a friend of mine who was flying to US for repair as my xbox was covered under warrantey in US.
After repair my friend has sent the xbox back to me through USPS priority mail international parcel with tracking id of EK304635722US around 8 days back.
Since last 3 days my parcel is stuck in custom and today i was able to find the status of my parcel at IPS website with remark as Retention reason: Call custom on xxx or mail on xxxxx.
Please advice if my shipment is liable to any custom duty as it was sent to US for repair. Should i contact the custom office or wait for their letter??Also by mistake my friend has mentioned the value of shopment as $500 instead of actual purchase value of $350.

Please advice. Any help will be highly appreciated.

I ordered a table tennis bat worth 40$ on ebay.com & it was posted to me by china registered air mail no.- RN088952088CN,
Can you tell me why it is being sent to CED JAIPUR as when my delivery address is of bangalore Huh?

If yes the can you tell me, will i need to pay custom duty also?
I have heard the are delivering the products in broken state to the buyer is there any truth about it??

I ordered FPV goggles 10 days ago from HK(Quanum DIY V2) and I chose EMS express because it was just 10$ more and I figured I'd be getting it much earlier. It's been stuck in customs since the 25th of August and tracking still hasn't updated. What's the point of EMS if customs are going to hang on to it for so long! The tracking number is EQ305789504SG

Is there any way I can speed things up? Or do I just have to wait? I was hoping to fly last weekend, but that was shot, and it doesn't seem like I'll be flying this weekend either.
