Custom has cleared but I don't know whether am I charged with duty or not. And I've already contacted Mumbai foreign post office and they informed me that my parcel haven't sent to pune yet. They will send it to Pune by tomorrow. Hope I'll get my parcel by Monday!!

I bought it from honorbuy.com(http://www.honorbuy.com/87-xiaomi-mi4c) which is reputed chinese seller and very well known for selling original chinese products from Companies like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo.

It costed me around 20K in INR. I would suggest you to buy Mi4C becuase it has better specs than Mi Note.

china registered mail and it took 59 days to reach me
customs took 27 days to clear my parcel
i ordered the item on 17 oct 2015

@ ajit, I think they imposed duty around $25 for every items under registered airmail. It is not bad but sometimes they impose same amount for $15 - 20 items also. These are all depends on our luck. Thank you for your information. 

I heard that Hong Kong post is little bit quicker than china post, singpost, etc. Because of their honesty. They did not allow the sender to mark lower value and as gift. So customs quiet satisfied with the value and item description of Hong Kong post registered parcel. Most of the Chinese online stores did not provide Hong Kong post service.

Even I couldn't believe on my eyes. I was not charged with duty because, the seller from whom I ordered the phone mentioned that it is Gift and value of gift is 89$ only.
And one more thing that might caused to not charge the duty is it was Registered Air Mail parcel.
One more thing my package doesn't seems to be opened, it was intact.

BTW, today I had called Mumbai international post dept, they picked my call after almost 20 mins then they gave me another no. A guy there told me that it is at the customs and gave me another number. Again that guy gave me number and put down the phone.. later I found that it is the first number which I had called on..!

Hi there...i dont know whether anyone has face this kind of problem but still i am posting anfd if anyone has any experience with this kind of problem please feel free to share it.....i have my parcel stuck at DIMC and status show "send item to domestic location"  on 17-12-2015 but it has not reached to me till today i.e 8 days since the status ....This is kind of weird because i have ordered earlier also from aliexpress via china post registered mail and it usually took maximum of 3 days once it got cleared from the customs.....moreover there was another parcel which got to the same status on 18-12-2015 and it was delivered to me on time....And when i went to my local post officr they said they have not recieve any parcel with that tracking no....so  i am looking for someone who can help me with this issue.....please reply...and share experience if anyone had any....

You are correct Raja....but the fact of the matter is that i myself went to the local post office and got my parcel from there....so instead of 28-12-2015 they updated the delivery on 18-12-2015....i know this is weird but this is how india post works...anyways i am happy that i got the parcel....and by the way thanks for replying...

Hi, today I received the parcel. After almost 2 months.. I had to pay 300 Rs import duty.. It was the MI mini wifi router. Actually the price was declared $5 by the seller and he had marked 'Other' on the declaration. Same router is available on ebay for Rs. 3600 whereas I got it for Rs. 1800 after custom charges..
