What all documents do I "actually" need to submit?

Stay off from bribes, and it's pretty dead simple. Give them what they ask for. If you don't have it, like the IEC code, tell them that it's for your personal use or any other respective reason.

You can just write a letter along with all the documents that you can provide.
I think the proof of payments is a must. You can say that you are not a professional importer and so you don't have all the documents like import lic. etc.  and for the actual price and declared price you can just tell them (if you are comfortable with it) that the seller has mentioned it on his own and you were not aware what the seller was going to mention on the parcel and that you are ready to pay duty on the actual price as per your bank documents which includes shipping cost.

Looks like a commercial stuff. If it is, then it should be the reason for the retention.
You should get some letter or email from customs soon enough.

Can you please help me, i recently ordered one Skytrainer cessna 182 1410mm RC Plane from FMS. They shipped through EMS. Total cost of the order was 199.99 USD (including free shipping) and they displayed original price on the package.

I think next office will be custom check but thinking how much duty they will charge or they won't release it all?

Thank you for your instant reply. No there's no transmitter/receiver in the package.
It is just PNP kit - EPO model with Motor, ESC & servos.

I'm not an expert in these dealings but. With what I know , You have to pay the customs duty. Online sites like Banggood reimburses the customs duty. But , dont know about your site. And there is a chance for it to being confiscated. Try your luck.

No worries bro. that's okay, the problem is every time custom people do their own calculations & thoughts. can't predict the final call.

Just wanted to check if some one has gone through this retention reason (retained by customs for unspecified reason) and what was the next update for other people's tracking. did they received their parcels or blocked.!!

$200 is really too much. Its totally expected from customs to retain it and ask for the invoice and the purpose.
You'll be paying a lot of duty, I'm afraid.

I got mine today. They charged 800 + 30 rupees. I don't have any other options. So I paid to the postman.

But I got an wonderful speaker. Thats really awesome. I am happy now.

You know this is weird, I ordered a watch for 126$ with out any issues in Customs I got it. But for this speaker I paid only 40$, charged customs as 13$.
