Sunlikestar, thanks. That photograph was chosen by Nat Geo and was displayed on their website for nearly 3 months. I was honoured.

Feels good to be in the company of such good photographers. Lots to learn from you youngsters!

Gr8 pics, reminds me of the ferry travel from Port Blair to Havelock, color of the water, distant rain, it rains under water you know ? atleast you can hear the overhead rain crystal clear.

I know Gusty, I did the same trip in 2008. Didn't have a digital cam back then, but shot hundreds of snaps with my Nokia 6630 1.3Mp cam. Unforgettable experience.

Just couldn't help posting these pictures. For a 1.3 mp Phone/Camera, I am more than satisfied! I have some more pictures of warcraft photographed at the Andaman Islands. That series is next.

The hotel room accorded a lovely view of the rising sun.........

This boat was washed ashore after the Tsunami. It was from Thailand. No one claimed it. It, probably, still rests at Viper island.

i agree, but to get that shark on the frame, i chased him around for like an 1/2 hr of intense paddling at 30 mtrs, i guess that makes it bad snap under difficult circumstances

Unfortunately Clown Fish are enjoying great popularity due to the movie "Finding Nemo" As always, with aquarium Clown Fish, there is an accompanying demand for anemones. Unfortunately, all anemones are not suited for captivity. Unlike our man 'Pug'.(Being called more like 'Hutch Dog', what a sad state to see dog meant for Srinagar living in Sriperambathur)

Anemones and Clown Fish have a well-known symbiotic relationship
. In the ocean, the Clown Fish are protected from predator fish by the stinging tentacles of the anemone.

There some clown fish for you.

(Small cam in a cheap seal bag, the pic ain't great, but these clowns are great to see, they don't care about your size, they will attack if they feel threatened, almost clown like)
