Hey guys;
As some of you may be already knowing that my ambition is to become a Commercial pilot. (not a fighter pilot)(i have spectacles)
I know that the basic procedures (in countries outside India) involve getting CPL's and then Type ratings and after that applying for jobs.
In our own country; there seem to be about 7500 unemployed pilots working in call centers and such places.
There are some Cadet pilot programs which offer a kind of 'LETTER OF INTENT OF EMPLOYMENT'.
If any of you have a pilot as a relative, Preferably in an Indian airline; could you please ask these question from them on my behalf and get back to me?
I know i am 14 and there is still time left but me and my father want to map it out.
Here are the question:

1)Are the cadet pilot schemes run by airlines effective? Are the  worth the money spent? ( i am  taking the indigo cadet pilot program as reference here.)

2)If i opt for Modular training then what to do after type rating?
  The situation in India: Airlines require you to have 500 hours of experience on the aircraft (usually A320 or B737) for which you apply as        a junior first officer. But to get those first 500 hours of type experience you must have a job in the first place.

I thank You in Advance.

Well yes i know but it will be great if you join ivao.in WhatsApp group
There we all fly online in simulator, with ATC you can join us too :)
You just need fsx , p3d or xplane
On that group we have 3 pilots ( real ) they're working in Indigo , air India and one is retired

And ya this is 90% as real world
