Hi friends. I am making a Quadcopter. My objective is to make it dead stable and drop a payload. How good is APM2.6 APM Flight Controller Board for Multicopter ARDUPILOT MEGA 2.6 for such a task?
I got this on www.dx.com (//http://). I don't know whether it's real or clone. Attaching the link here. Please advice me on this asap.

If you want dead stable go for naza.
NAZA is very expensive. I don't have that much of budget. Can u let me know a FCB within 5k?
Hello vishal.
I am no expert on quads but I have been doing a lot of reading since I plan to build my first quad soon. From what I have read, the APM involves quite a bit of set up and tuning. The Naza is almost plug and play but as you said, is very expensive. The kk 2.1 is suitable for beginners and very cheap at Rs. 2100 but is not as stable and has limited functionality. I don't really know much about Crius/Multiwii/CC3D and other flight controllers

this is without gps. you can upgrade to gps later.
If u want multiwii v2.5 brand new let me knw....
get a crius AIO pro board - cheaper than APM ,but full functionality of APM with megapirate (APM port), You may also experiment with multiwii in this board.
Bro apm 2.6 will do it very well...
Crius AIO pro, is cheaper than APM , and still has full functionality tooo.
Even crius multiwii v2.5 is functional u may check the specs...
