See guys , i wanna sell something , but want to know where the account no. will be written, will it be written in the passbook or on the debit card, how many letters does it contain? and does it have numbers and alphabets or either, what is neft capable?

Account Number is never written on Credit or Debit Card. You can find account number on the passbook. It is only Numeric. No Alphabets.

have seen alphabets in HDFC bank a/c s..The total number of digits differ bank to bank..Check ur pass book..There will be clearly printed as account number..

and btw what is NEFT capable , ?

As Sumeet said it is clearly mentioned in passbook
There are 3 imp details in a passbook:
1)your name
2)A/c no.
3)Customer Id
Each of them are clearly written
If you still have problem finding It ,try to google it , you will be able to find images which will be of great help
