If
Physical fitness + Mind motivation = different race, Hurdle race
Physical fitness + Planning =  Football, Hockey etc.
eyesight + concentration = Archery, shooting
Reflex + Display = Gymnastics,
Planning + Reflex + Eyesight = RC Display

Unlikely but yes if synchro swimming can be a event then ....maybe the some kind of indoor syncro flying on flatouts can be a event. Synchro swimming and synchro indoor flying on flatouts on music is so much similar.

Can RC be an Olympic "sport" event?
In my opinion no. For the same reason why motor sport is not a part of Olympics.
Let me try to express my thought:
In RC the influence of the "non human" factors on the outcome is significant.
1. Two guys A and B compete in a flying "display" event.
2. A is better than B (assumption).
3. However due to slight difference in one of the many parts that go into making the plane, A scores below B , and B takes the medal.
I feel it is difficult to have a "standard" to test skill in RC.

It would be possible to have a RC event like motorsport but i do not think it is a good idea to associate it with the Olympics :)
Any thoughts on the above are welcome :)
