One of my good pals needs a RC helicopter to take airel pictures of an event, the mail below says it all!

Got a business proposal for you . one of my friends ( who has seen your chopper's pics on facebook ) was asking if it would be available on hire for taking areal pics of an event they are organizing on 31st Decmber.

I think their idea is to attach a mini cam to it ( may be we can shed some ammo to adjust weight   and make it fly a few sorties over the event with the cam rolling.

Being a layman with no connection to aviation and the technicalities, I do not know how feasible the whole idea is , also the logistics such as availability of you in Goa during that time that too with the chopper.

If the idea is not laughable , we can proceed and think the financial etc .

Wouldnt the heli flying above attract everyons attention? So when the video is being played you can see everyone looking up at the heli

I just spoke to him, he said they don't need a helicopter to fly above people like the "Aamir stunt"
they just need a ariel video, so I would presume that the heli could be flown from the side.

Hmmm yeah. Well i were one in the crowd i would still look at the heli

What sort of an event is it? I mean is it related to RC?

The first requirement would be a camera stabilized by a gyro.All the best with the event.
