Hypothetically, without incriminating anybody, let's say if a friend of a friend speculated flying a nano drone (<250 g) in a red zone (DGCA), then the question is:

1. Is there a microwave (2.4 GHz) surveillance in operation?
2. What kind of information would the surveillance (GPS location, Drone ID, model type, DJI account info, etc)?
3. Could somebody point me to posts on this forum that have dealt with something similar?
4. What would be the real time consequence of the alert on the surveillance output.

Obviously, if this discussion fall outside of the guidance on this forum, please feel free to let me know! The intention is not to offend.

Cheers.

Hoping someone would have some insight on this!

That friend of a friend actually did end up giving me feedback on his experience.

I could share it with you depending on what you were planning?

Hi,

I am flying drone since DJI started selling and been an aero modeller for 20+ years.

my policy is that 1st of all avoid red zones, army cantonments, Airforce areas and all those areas that have high level security.

If there is permission then you have nothing to worry.

But always avoid so that you dont end up dealing with our stupid law system.

SInce the PM has made it legal for drones now things are getting real easy but still avoid those areas.

strictly its no to fly in Red zone. Red means Red We stop !  It should be like it i think, any small incidents with free use might result in strict regulations again.
