Edx is offering an online course on Flight Vehicle Aerodynamics, it's free and the best part, Mark Drela --The fluid dynamics guru-- is one of the course teachers!
Stuff like this is probably going to take the fun out of the RC hobby for most of us, but the MIT course-ware is a must-not-miss for those into flight dynamics.

Doesn't run on my Ipad.

It probably requires basic understanding of fluid dynamics: Bernaulli's principals, flow types and some basic calculus.
Iyer sir, Google for 16.110x
Its the course code.
chindichor, yes, the perquisites have been mentioned on the page. The course starts on Jan 27, I think the time gap is fairly sufficient to brush-up on some basics. All that calculus is going to heat up my head. I'm only auditing the course, though.
I like books like Flight Without Formulae by AC Kermode. :giggle:
@anjanbabu
Great to come across a fan of Kermode.
Read the book maybe 30-40 years ago.
Copy must still be in my crates and crates of books.
Regards.
Interesting, I guess I got to grab it http://www.flipkart.com/flight-without-formulae-5th/p/itmdytstahzxpfrn
Iyer sir, It surprised me to know the book is that old. I'm yet to get his other book, Mechanics Of Flight.
chindichor, get it! Its an amazing book that lives up to it's title.
@anjanbabu
Flight without formulae first published around 1940!
Also the proud owner of
Aerofoils for aeromodellers by Martyn Pressnell, and
Model Aircraft Aerodynamics by Martin Simons (found by wife when British Library in Lucknow closed and they gave books away free a few years ago)
BTW, I registered for this course a few months back, but was unable to click/drag the correct answers into the answers bucket (in the introductory). Apparently a limitation of IPad. Will try on laptop when i get back to Indore.
