Hello Everyone,

I am new in the RC space. I am building the quadcopter, we are using EMAX 650 motors, 30A SIMONK ESC, NAZA M LITE and flysky FS i6ab. Did all connections, calibration and binded Tx with Rx. Then powered it but the motor does not spin.  Following things we did-

1. Direct connected ESC to Rx- Motors are rotating.
2. Removed 2A supply pin from ESCs - No effect
3. Did few recalibrations- No effect

Naza m lite  LED- Red Red Red Green @ GPS ATTI.
Beep - Beep only when power is plugging in.

Kindly help.

Hi welcome to the forum and to the hobby!

I suggest you remove the propeller from your quad will doing all these test!

for the motors to spin you need to arm the quad,
This is done by holding the remote control sticks as the picture shown!

Once done the motors will spin and increase throttle!

Disarming is also same as arming!

Naveed

Thank you Mohammed,

I tried the same, no effect.

The ESC's are beeping only at the start. I have seen more than 50 videos to understand connections tried the same but motors are not spinning after connecting to NAZA m lite.

Am I missing something?

Can you upload a pic of your Rc setup page of the dji assistant app.

You can whatsApp me as well at 7022216674

PFA images for reference.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
have you calibrated and set end points using Rx only? If you still facing problem set motor startup to med or high.

Hi Dharmik,

calibrated the same using Rx and tried different motor speeds.

1. ESC that I am using has a response rate of 490hz and Naza can support only up to 400hz. Is this an issue?
2. The beeping sound is coming during power-up & after that no beeping sound.

for the reference, I am attaching the video link-https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cWn61dYBO1Olsfc-yA8NLEWxt7nLBAIw/view?usp=sharing

Dharmik

Hi I saw your video. From video it looks like everything is properly connected but may be something is not done correctly.

1. check wiring for any loose contact
2. as I remember there is motor spin test. check that are the motors responding correctly?
3. keep the F.C. in normal or ATTI mode.
4. check if any channel is reversed or not.
if above points are not the case then probably your escs need to calibrate separately one by one as they are not detecting ARM. to do that
connect single esc to the motor (no props). ESC signal plug to throttle channel of Rx.
1. put throttle to the max and power on the tx
2. power on Rx(esc all together). you will hear beep sound which stores the end point.
3. now bring the throttle stick down again you will hear sound. now increase throttle to see if motor spinning.
4. do this for rest of the escs and then connect them to the naza and see if it's working or not.

Thank you, Dharmik.

The issue was sorted out. Did the following things

1. Calibrated ESC's as you told.
2. Rebind the TX and RX.

Thank you, everyone, for giving your valuable time.
