Must be at least 60 knots .
Its really difficult to taxi in such winds ..

The wind does not seem to be too stiff as either people or equipment does not seem to be affected at all. For a plane (even a light airplane to VTO like that there has to be real real stiff head wind

Agree, not sure that there is any much wind, long back in 2000 at the AeroIndia show at Bangalore a similar aircraft was flown that took off within a very short distance and did some crazy loops very low to the ground.

Its just not the wind alone :

1. The Plane is a STOL one
2. the Landing strip has elevation like  aircraft carrier's ski-jump ramp.

Still amazing feat!!!
