first aid question!

People, since aero fuel has atleast 70% Methanol which incidental is poisonous as well;
what happens if you cut yourself on the field and fuel comes in contact with the open wound, like say you cut your finger with a prop kick back or something.
other than getting the wound treat before continuing (which is common sense) :D
is there any first aid or likewise?

I have had many instances of direct contact with methanol. I just wash it off with running water. Never had any problems and the wound heals as usual. However, initial contact with methanol would be painful.

the reason I asked was because a friend send me a link mentioning that methanol poisoning is fatal and even 10% is enough to loose blindness etc... obviously this was in context with oral intake (spurious liquor) 
But somewhere there in the article it mentioned direct contact with open wounds but said nothing more...
