In india DGCA permits all drones(<25kg) virtually to operate by not imposing any regulations on them yet. Such events in india i believe is very unlikely to happen unless there is a loss of life or property.
On the contrary DGCA has banned all drones (of all sizes) and other UAVs in India till further order.

Further to santanucus' reply, there has been a lot of discussion on the subject in this forum since Oct 2014, and some serious efforts to engage the Govt.
(Details in the first few threads found by searching for 'DGCA')
And Santanucus is one of those who have put a laudable effort into this.
