Hi Guys - been a long time.  Nice to see the old gang still active.  I've been having a hectic few years , so not been able to
build and fly as much as I'd like to. However all that's changed - and I've decided to hang up my boots (partially).

So the nub of it is that I have now relocated to Kolkata proper and want to get in touch with any one who's building
and flying model airplanes.

So thats it for now ... looking forward to meeting fellow aero modellers here.

@Saikat

Welcome back.

Please start by posting some pics of your builds.
Hope you have preserved your models and photos...

Hi, SaikatDa,
Welcome Back to Kolkata. Even I have came back to kolkata after 8 years of service outside kolkata.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

Hi Sir

All the models are piles of balsa / fibre glass in Assam - cost of carting them to Kolkata was too much.
Got all my engines , radios, servos, - also enough balsa and kits for about 100 models.  Main issue is where I stay in Kolkata(Salt Lake) is a sort of a no fly zone
as its near the airport. so looking for a flying site before I start making new ones.

Another pleasant surprise - went to Chandni market recently and found shops  selling radios , rcvr and servos at cheap prices.
Most colleges have robotics as a course so the shops must have started stocking them. also googled and found radios by radiomaster
being sold online in India at quite reasonable prices.

Nice to see involved hobbyists returning to the city. Thank you for keeping the spirit alive.
@saikat I would like to join you in your search for a flying site.
PM me if you think two heads are better than one. I am pretty close to Salt lake myself.
