What I meant was that, are Pikle6 and Pickle 72 one and the same person?

Congrats Merog !

Looks like this is some other Pickle72 who placed himself in Illinois USA, and our Pikle6/Subbu is in Mumbai, busy with his exams.  Haven't seen him for a while now.

Hi Merog,
Could you post some similar decal design for us builders to use?? Do you mind any of using these beautiful designs on our planes??

tg

Also, can any one post how to transfer decal designs for application to an airframe. How do you'll print these (I have an inkjet printer). But what material is used to print the decals on.

Dear tg,

Actually decals like cockpit, Logos, Some Markings on the plane can be printed on A4 Sheets with your ink jet. But if it comes to airplane covering there are some methods.

One is Printed Film Covering. The entire design will be printed on covering films and then they are carefully pasted to the plane airframe. This can only be done at the printing press.

Another method is Laminating Film covering. If the design is simple, then based on the design, various colored laminating films are taken and they are cut according to the design and are pressed on the foamie with laminating iron. This can better be done on foamies. And based on the complexity of the design, we can make the covering by 'film-on-film' method.

Some instructions about the covering:

Some covering films for sale are here:

Hope this helps.
