hi friends my name is syed imran and i am from kashmir srinagar , i had a deal with a guy named abhishek l pujjar he is a student of engg. in NIT. surathkal karnataka he sent me pictures of his monester king and i said i will buy this ,next day he sent me his account detais of canara bank but we dont have canara bank here , then i said him to send me any other bank account and he sent me his friends sbi bank and i deposited the amount 11000 rupees and he said that payement has been recieved now six days have passed but he is not sending me the parcel and is not even responding to my calls or sms and now his phone is switch off.plz help me out i have saved this money from my pocket money as i am a student .i will post his id proof and also passbook here plz help me out . i will be highly obliged .

so sory to hear ur plight...... just try writing his dad " L. pujar "....... make it a registered post so that you can be sure his dad receives it......... threaten him with police complaint........... just do something dont let him go.....
but before proceeding with any harsh action just confirm that he is not involved in any exams... or important stuff .......else u may find urself in embarrassing situation

Please try sending him a PM here first. He last logged in 3 days ago, which was the same day you complained to me via PM about this matter.
If you have paid him money, it will not go anywhere. But I assume that this may be a case of delays (and miscommunication). These days, cyber crimes command severe punishments, so it is just a matter of referring this to the authorities, as long as you have proof of the transfer etc. But do that only after giving this member some more time to clear his record.
It is tragic. If I am not wrong second or third student being accused in a row, something small time LHS used to be accused of.
I hope students dont tarnish their rapport this way, even before starting their career out of the college. World is small and you keep bumping into people you would have long forgotten, but they wont!!!
Hope things get sorted out for both the parties soon.
Imran, try to find him on FB and Linkedin /other social sites and leave a final warning/message and SMS. Failing to reply in a week's time, send a letter to his college and parents if possible. All the best.

This is really stupid!! please close the thread asap i have made a deal and i told him i will give the shipping details by 6pm yesterday and i had to go 1 hour away from my place to get this consignment sent i am a student and with all the tight schedule its been very difficult why doesnt this person have any patiencce? my phone battery drained on the way back and gave him all the details at 10pm and this person doesnt have the courtesy to write that here? when he can write he is betrayed just because my phone was off for 3 hours?!! this is really really disturbing, moderator please delete this thread its so so embarrassing! i regret doing business with this person if i hadnt shipped it i would have cancelled the deal fed up with this person!
this person here says i have not responded to hi calls thats because i am in class and cant answer whenever iw ant to and i have texted him back! i will be attatching the screenshots of out conversation this is insane! how can he just tell stuff about me which is not true! im really disappointed with the attitude of people, i will be attatching the screenshots now and please make sure such people are dealt with, people are always prejudiced that the seller is always wrong and the buyer is right but most of the times its other way around! lot of my friends are in this forum and think about how embarrassing it is for me to get false blame!
He tried to contact you multiple times before he posted in public, and during those times, as per the OP, you kept changing the story about whether the item is shipped or not. See his message from the 10th.

As you can see above, just a straight story from the beginning would have prevented all this grief. You should have just said "as I am student, I will get it shipped by such and such date time", instead of all this back and forth about whether the item is shipped and whether a tracking number is available etc.

you have to understand that i stay in a small town not a city even though they have courier services they denied to take the consignment as its more than 10kgs and i was told that i had to recieve the reciept from mangalore and that it will be dispatched from there, tell me what can i do and i told the buyer the same
i just called the dtdc courier guys they told the shipment is still with them! i have told them not to dispatch it i will be returning the money to this person! i dont want to put my reputation at stake because of such narrow minded people! please delete this post before everyone sees it! cant believe im being accused of crime on the internet!
i am student am very enthusiastic about all this rc cars and rc hobbies and i had this car from one year we fabricated this car for an event and we got another bigger car for our next events! so this car was just lying without being used so i thought i would sell it use the money for our next car, this guy imran calls mes up telling he was interested and also he told he was a student and he was tight on cash so i made a deal of sending him the car with stock parts and all the aluminium parts we fabricated and also glow plug ignitor and charger for it and also a 1600 mah battery hump with charger and 3 channel transmitter and reciever and a pro line body and also sent him a set of rechargeable batteries for transmitter and i did all this not to make money i wanted more people like him to take up this hobby and wanted to help out a student, i was also a student and i still remember times when i struggled to get the parts and how difficult it was to get this hobby running with the little money i had! so i made him such a good deal also i took care of all the shipping charges as well and just because i did not respond to him for 4 hours this guy posted such stuff on the internet! and i my phone battery was deadso i couldnt contact him anyways i have called him up and told him to send his account details i will refund him tomorrow and get it over with! i regret doing business with him and also indsecure about helping other people in future! please moderators take this thread down or atleast the pictures of my ID i should have know he was immature :(

As suspected, this is yet another example of miscommunication. You should have sent him a *clear* PM or email confirming your stance / plans (that you will ship it only on such and such date, due to such and such reasons). It is certainly not about 4 hours, it is more like 4 days of not getting proper information.
If you put yourself in his shoes, you will understand why he did what he did. If the seller does not properly say WHEN and IF the item is shipped, then anyone will get anxious. Yet he waited for 4 or 5 days before this was posted in public. Would you not have done the same ?

and post the details of the parcel you will certainly get prospective buyers when they come to kno what all you were selling to him for 11000 and also post a courier receipt.

11k is a big amt especially wen the person lives 1500 miles apart........
i remember my transaction with HKing..... it was 187$ ..... around 11k...... the same amt..... even i had saved the money of my internship....... but ten tey provided 24 hrs chat that effectively agumented my anxiety.......
i am realy saddened to see u people havijng bad experience......... but hey, still instead of parting with soar experiences...... maybe u both cud complete the deal n set an eg.

also, if the transaction is realy for big amts, like 10k> , some insured policies like a post dated cheque can be given by the seller against the amount he receives , so that the buyer wont feel that helpless....

That would be an additional complication ! So many things can go wrong with that idea.
It is basically very simple, and none of this is needed. The only thing needed is over communication !
In this case, the seller seemed to promise that the item is packed and ready to go, and would get shipped out "as soon as" the money is received. Now "as soon as" to the buyer is "the next day". To the seller, "as soon as" seemed to mean "within a week when he could go out to the courier company which is far away" ! So what went wrong here ? The seller never really communicated to the buyer the details of his shipping plan properly, before or during the sale. That is the root cause of why this thread came up.
Remember that there are many many other transactions happening here, without any issues. It is all about communication.
