Wagon and that for :Rs: 1 Lack ($2000) !! Were this in India, there would have been so many R/C flying lining up for it!!! this could be such a great plane carrier to the flying field!!

I guess he's never met the Impreza. That would make his wagon look like the nannywagon it really is ;)

Well,Ujjwal,I really envy these guys. They get pretty good used cars at a very good price.

@Tassem:Since it is based off the Impreza,it should be a good and sporty station wagon. But it obviously loses out in comparison to the awesome-ness of the Impreza.

This guy should get a job in advertising. ;D

I'm guessing he's already into some industry like that. But that car isn't that good man. A friend's dad has had it since donkey's years. It handle's exceptionally well for a wagon, but that's as good as it gets.

Well,a wagon doesn't do much than ferry kids around.

Are you kidding me?! Have you seen the Audi S6? Its a wagon with a V10 Lamborghini engine that pumps out in excess of 500BHP! It does way more that ferry kids around ;) Even BMW has experimented with high performance wagons. I feel its really practical. You get the performance and the convenience.

I was talking about this particular model. The Impreza was not really a powerhouse with 130 odd bhp on tap. The added weight of the wagon would reduce the performance aspect further. But the legendary stability was retained fairly well. The newgen Impreza wagons or hatchbacks have 170 bhp stock with the option of transplanting the 256bhp variant. Plus it supports bigger turbos. Now those are fun!

Well, the high performance wagons just aren't practical. For that sort of money,I would go for a hot hatch.

I do remember a race in TG where they raced a van against a German equivalent where TG's van had a Jag's enigine and it was an awesome race.

PS:And all that power makes no sense when you can't put it down properly.Just like in RCs,if you get a castle creations mamba max pro with the 9000 Kv motor or the Novak havoc with the 10,500 Kv motor and stick it on an on-road car,(if you stick these in 1/10 off road cars, the psychiatrist will be your best friend  >:D >:D )its gonna go bonkers. You just can't get the handling from wagons unless you lower them or stiffen the ride. And as everyone knows,a car with a suspension tuned for racing will destroy your spine on normal roads.

PPS:Anyways, this is just a friendly discussion and good to see more guys passionate about cars.I didn't know of the crazy wagon you mentioned.Goes to show, discussions lead to good stuff(most of the time ;)  ;D )
