I wanted to know if hobbyking is shipping to India because I am unable to place order due to shipping problems.

I will recomend to purchase from Indian LHSs. Don't go for Import, if you are not aware of all the possibilities for custom clearance.
XYZ Hobbies belongs to vineet sir, and now the site is closed.
Earlier his site name was hobbysea.com, and I purchased more than once (even after discussion about the items not in his store, and he give us, after importing.
His service was good AFAIK.
For an accident, he got unresponsive earlier, and later he cleared all pending cases, one by one...
Present scenario is unknown to me.
Robu.in, robocraze.com, makerbazar.in, Hnhcart.com, electronicspices.com, rytronics.com are a few good Indian online store at present.
