I see, 17 track is just a global tracking service and not a shipping company... When goods from around the world come here they can update tracking status only till the product reaches to the foreign post office (Kolkata/Mumbai). After then they provide you a transfer number on their website which is basically a tracking number for the same package but with India Post Label .. Then you can easily track it on the India Post website. One other possibility(if you bought electronic stuff) can be that, it was detected by the customs and then if its worth is above 50 USD they call you and ask for if you can pay that duty charge otherwise/mostly they simply return it to the origin if possible or DESTROY it.
What you can do is try finding that transfer number by entering this tracking number to the SHIPPING company's website... (In your case SINGAPORE POST)
