Hello guys,
I just want to tell you guys that i may quit this hobby because i am very frustrated,my scratchbuild doesnt fly no matter what happens and this cheap motor esc combo is very bugging.

You are in Delhi. People fly in Gurgaon, Noida, Naraina etc. Get in contact with a group. Help is available, look for it
Contact Nagar sir in AIMA for help with flying lessons
Well lets see if someone is available to help :-\
Thanks anyways :salute:

mostly Every one had gone from the same phase you are facing right now.
As sanjay sir said there are people near you , who fly regulerly. Amit is also based at delhi. Get it contact with him.
I suggest you to first buy a trainer ( Sky surfer ). it is very forging you can learn and have fun . Then start with your Scratch building.

PM me and I'll get you a training session with the Hobbyzone Champ and a GWS Slow Flyer too.
Keep the faith Prium, my last model was the actual one that flew decently and I've made three before that which were tail heavy or under powered or whatsoever...it will fly and you will be happy...remember the old story of the ant...try try again and you will succeed and most importantly interact, meet up, share and feedback
It was a spider GS. Robert Bruce
...sure chief maybe I read the ant version but the point still remains...patience must prevail

That is a FANTASTIC offer Lance! Great spirit - take it up Priyum. Theleabres is a Master Pilot (and a king hearted person) and you are one lucky guy.
Another Rep +1 that doesn't show................why???
Typo : I meant to type 'Kind hearted' but I think I will let it remain. It is applicable and appropriate.
Sad that I don't have someone like theleabres or laxmansuthar in the place I fly. They came up promptly to help. I would have grabbed this both hands in joy. +1 to you guys and your support to the new comers of this hobby.
I haven't yet been able to fly and I have been trying for almost 1 and a half years now. Still I am not frustrated :D The trick is to keep yourself motivated. I have scratch built 4 airframes till date, of which 3 were my own design. They get better every time but still I have not been able to fly one successfully.
If your planes don't fly, don't loose heart. Just make an airboat. These things are fun, and even when you crash, nothing gets damaged. Little successes along the way keep your morale high and frustrations at bay :)
I have built a 40'' balsa model and flown it thrice... All 3 times it's nosedived into the ground! On the 3rd time it's complete nose area got destroyed and ALL the electronics broke!
1 week later the lipo exploded... :P
But i haven't lost hope! Neither should you! Crashing is a part of flying.... You know you are not flying well if you haven't crashed atleast once!
If you crash then figure out why you crashed and what went wrong.... Only then can you learn to fly properly... Also meet up with others... Learn from them... Buddy box with them..... And just accept crashing as a part of life and move on....
And don't forget that when it flies, you can show off to your friends and show how your plane is better than their cheap Chinese rc stuff:P:P
Sent from a potato using a lamp
dont quit aniket, why would you opt for balsa ,being a beginner. I started with helis and then went for planes. It was a big mistake and made serious dents in my pockets. But i never gave up and probably due to that (crashes) now i am concordant flyer with no crash so far. Just give yourself one change and book a foamy (hawk sky or similar).
Wow guys thank you so much for your help,
Leabres +1 for you sir and laxman.
Will surely contact you soon for it.
@avesh i chose balsa because i have been building with it since i was 12, and i have made quite a few rubberband models... :P
@aniket building skills and flying skills both differ. Transforming from building to flying needs a bit of experience and my personal opinion would be to phase epo models. Its finally your choice... :)
Aavesh... did that only! :P now am using coro... once i get the hang of flying, i iwll head back to balsa....
thumps up
ok... thump up i will
