Great ad great inspiration for the coming generation
Hey sirs yes i did see the idea advertisement and i love it.
But one question how did the boy install Talking feature in the drone.
Regards,
Aman.
The first thing that comes to mind is that he didn't. This is an advertisement and so you probably shouldn't take it as real tech. The fact that they included a multirotor in it is great, but the talking part is probably edited into it. Of course, you could always install a sound playback module into a multirotor if you wanted.
It is a 550 hexacopter frame with black colour motos.
Awesome advertisement.
Its a 550hex dji original frame with naza m v2 tmotors dji 1045 original props
With dji landing gear
The talking part is edited
Everything else is real
How do you know this much.
Experience. Chintal Sir is a multirotor expert.
I know that but how can he know they are t motors.
@rcnitesh the same way that i know the flight time of kraken
Its very easy to figure out if you watch the thing on youtube at 1080p and pause the video on right time
Now plz dnt ask how did i know this
Well thanks for the information I really wanted to know the motors which you have described.
Thank you very much sir.
Regards,
Aman.
Probably 2212 size but m sure they r t motors
But, how can this hex lift 3 egg tray's
It's lifting nothing just some editing.
May be it's just some hardboard trays only !, Why bother about eggs.
How ever the features of the Portrayed Drone is only Imaginary as of now .
To be frank, the current DGCA diktat on Drone/UAV is ALL due to Amazon's PR misadventure of delivering goods through Multirotors.
Please dont get exited by this Ad. Such ads are bringing more trouble for our hobby than ANY good.
Why a "Drone" is a Drone ???
In this case, the usage of the word 'drone' is appropriate since the hexacopter in the ad shows a pretty high level of autonomy. Here, I don't mean to say it actually is that autonomous, it is only shown as such. However, I agree that this sort of ad can create even more misconceptions abut the hobby. People who see it might think that our hobby multirotors are as capable as this, which is a wrong impression.
Yeah, Yeah I noticed a not so glad impression on my neighbor's faces when I flew my quad last time :giggle:

Why a "Drone" is a Drone ???
sir me too this question !!
Lol ??? :D
Why we don't call our multirotors, Drones ?, because the later is something referred to fully autonomous Unmanned aerial vehicles, that can carry out military operations or do some specific tasks that require more capabilities than a human.
On the contrary, the RC multirotors or planes we make are purely for recreational purpose. Though the present state of the art Control systems developed by 3DR , Multiwii(Thanks to Alex),and DJI gives some more capabilities to our poor RC Crafts, they are still nothing but Toys compared to the Military UAVs of US (Recently you people should have read the Assassin of an Al-queda leader in Pak by a UAV all the way from the states !!).
So when we ourselves start calling our model airplanes and Multirotors UAV or Drone,............Well, I think that's enough you can think the outcome of it in a Country like India.
PS : I Love my country - not trying to criticize the way it is :)
:iagree: The main problem in our country is the lack of knowledge about the hobby, though this is even a problem in the USA where many people are concerned (especially by FPV flying). In fact, a man was attacked by a woman at a public beach for taking aerial video. The only thing I wanted to add is that as of now, even the military does not use fully autonomous aircraft, even their drones are remotely operated at extremely long range. The highest level of autonomy I have heard of is the X-47B jet that landed on a aircraft carrier autonomously, using an advanced algorithm
Have you heard of the latest nail in the coffin (??) that is also probably going to be imported by the DGCA? An airplane (Airbus A320) had a near miss with a "drone" at the Heathrow Airport as reported in The Sunday Times in July. The pilot of the Airplane reported the sighting at about 700 feet to the UK Airprox Board (UKAB) and an investigation was launched. The Board gave it the Risk Rating as "A", the highest of the five. The investigators could not identify the 'drone' (or the UAV). It did not show up on the radar, it seems. What is awaiting us, here in India?
HORRIBLE

Why a "Drone" is a Drone ???
I quote from http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/150948/the-drone-as-autonomous-vehicle: (http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/150948/the-drone-as-autonomous-vehicle:)
"In 1935, U.S. Adm. William H. Standley saw a British demonstration of the Royal Navy's new remote-control aircraft for target practice, the DH 82B Queen Bee. Back stateside, Standley charged Commander Delmer Fahrney with developing something similar for the Navy. "Fahrney adopted the name 'drone' to refer to these aircraft in homage to the Queen Bee," Mr. Zaloga wrote. The term fit, as a drone could only function when controlled by an operator on the ground or in a "mother" plane.
During World War II, the Army and Navy stepped up production of "target drones" for practice and "assault drones" for combat. One pioneer in the field was the British actor Reginald Denny, whose model-plane hobby led him to found the Radioplane Company. The Army placed orders for Denny's DENN +1.43% creation, which it called the OQ-2. The Navy had its own contract and called the vehicle the TDD-1, short for "Target Drone Denny 1."

I guess that explains the name.
DRONE? we should not support such articles or video guys its very terrible for our hobby.
Recently i was called by DC of custom (Mumbai Air Cargo) where he doubted about the CX20, he thought that the drone shown in the pizza ad and this was same and hence he said that its dangerous as it can go long distance.
And it was really very difficult to explain such things to people who are not very well infromed about these models. He kept saying this drone can do this and that. I always kept saying that this is not a drone its just a hobby grade model. It cannot fly for more than 10 mins drone fly for days and between countries.
Nothing against chintal or anyone who liked this ad but i am just not happy that we are supporting these things. I know the video is showing in positive sense but officials will not take this in a positive way.
BTW: my CX20 is still with custom where they have sent one sample to Delhi to test the capability of the model :banghead: :banghead:
Lets be responsible towards our hobby.
i dont like the ad i like the idea satya ji
air cargo should be the last choice....

@rcnitesh the same way that i know the flight time of kraken
sir are you talking about kraken the flying wing with airsoft gun. I am a big fan of it.
No I think he means the Kraken Octocopter. See this: http://www.rcindia.org/rc-events/meet-up-in-mumbai/msg174036/#msg174036 (http://www.rcindia.org/rc-events/meet-up-in-mumbai/msg174036/#msg174036)
@SK, yeah , He meant Kraken octa itself :)
@Tanmay, haven't heard from you a while, how is it goin' ?
Yup the octo itself
Guys, peoples perceptions of our hobbies are really going to a different league.they are starting to believe it as dangerous drone like bomb carrying machine which is not safe for humanity,so rather than being amazed they look at it in a suspicious way
it is not a drone (talking drone) >:( >:( . it is just a hexacopter.. we should not promote these type of advertisement.
This ad developed a sense in common people that, making these type of rotor crafts need a lot of calculations and engineering :giggle: - which we know is foolishness .
Many people on seeing my quad ask me whether I got the Idea from the Idea ad :giggle:
ha ha ha @sooraj you are totally correct people think it has to be fully aerodynamic or else it wont fly.they began to think as if we are genius ha ha
Same here. From the day I built my plane my friends and my relatives think that I am a genius. One of my father's friend even told me to go the pilots route in the future lol.
:giggle: lol nitesh
