Hi Folks

i was planning to buy a new Jumper T16 transmitter and wanted to know how is the situation with regards to Customs ? Are they allowing import or are they confiscating the transmitters? Thoughts?

Can't even pay customs to get them through? Why would radio transmitters be confiscated? I thought they were allowed.

I've previously imported an FS-i6x from AliExpress. Got through without any issue. I currently have a Jumper T16 Pro on order. Expected to be delivered by next week. Still on the flight to India. Hoping for the best.

Purchase from Jumper store on Aliexpress and use any express method like FedEX. I have purchased two T16s myself and got them without an issue.

Be ready for the worst.Customs will keep asking you for paperwork and may even never release it.
I have made 2 orders on the past and each one went differently.
1.Came through,had to pay customs duty.
2.Never came through.Submitted loads of paperwork,but still nothing.FedEx tried to help,but still couldn't get me my parcel.Its been 5 years now.

I believe the checking is random so they don't manage to get hold of everything.
If you get into trouble,I believe there are people in this forum who have experience in this area and can sort it out for you for a small fee(no,I have no experience)
