Hi all,
I am thinking to import Pixhawk Flight controller from Banggood but I am unaware of the problems caused by customs while importing such. I was thinking to choose the fastest possible shipping service and here is a screenshot of my cart.

I want to know whether customs bothers for importing such parts. I have heard they bother a lot while importing wireless RC components but while importing Pixhawk? What problems will I face and how to overcome it? The shipping saying that it will deliver in 5-8 business days? Will it be delivered in 5-8 days really? I want it urgently.
PS: I don't have any import certificate or any kind of certificate...

The expedited shipping may work as expected and you may also raise issue with banggood if it did not reach in time. But expedited shipping may attract customs and if customs is levied you need to pay custom charges even on shipping.
These do not come under restricted goods so your pixhawk will not get struck in customs nor they ask for licence.

And what are the custom charges?
Also what are restricted items? All wireless transmitters and receivers?

Restricted items are RC equipment because of WPC rules ,batteries which are harmful while shipping.
Customs charges varies a lot. Sometimes a 20$ product may not have customs charges but sometimes even a 10$ one may have.
It all depends upon the customs officer. But there is no issue of seizing your product. You will get it for sure. But there is a chance of customs charges .

Expedited Shipping will definately attract customs. recently i ordered a HS1177 and a F3 board and some bits and bobs from banggood amounting to 70 dollars or so. The package came in very fast maybe in 5 days but also there was a bill from DHL for 900/- for customs and handling charges (Banggood had invoiced only 18 dollars). the package was also opened by customs for checking as the camera and stuff were out of place from the box. it was very frustrating as i had almost paid double the price of goods. and to add more frustration....the cam was available at RCHyper the next day for the same pricing!!!.

If you are willing to wait 20-25 days, it is better to get it via EMS. I also recommend Local LHS even if the prices are tad bit higher.

Bro, you'll get it np. Ask Banggood to do the following:

1) Mark package as GIFT and LOW ITEM VALUE ($5)
2) Label as Hobby Parts
3) Ask them to use Singapore Post, Post NL or Hong Kong Post (these are fastest shipping services in my experience)

You won't be charged anything. I got my Xiaomi Yi from BG last week and a huge box of accessories this week. No duty.
