Sir, what else do u expect? i have lost more than a dozen parcels amounting to 900$ approx after they reached India just because these were sent by ordinary post. couldn't track them after that. i wonder if they use them or sell. last thing i lost was http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHSW2&P=ML bought on ebay us. after losing this one i decided to pay twice or sometimes thrice but to make sure the parcel reaches me.

on the contrary, I have sent and received parcels from all over the world. Once a letter sent from France by ordinary post reached me in 5 days, from USA average is 5-10 days. And to USA in 7 days, I have experience of sending to Bangkok in 4 days. And of course all by India Post with out any track no. just ordinary reg. Airmail.

This is really a sorry state of affairs.

It is always wise and safe to get your parcel registered while sending and ask for registration while being sent to you. In this case it's always obligatory for postal department to delivery parcel safely and undamaged.

Once Austrian sent me a cover containing some stamps four times to reach me, than they had made it mandatory for all Indian buyer to order the stamps only through registered mail.

But I found the List of undelivered Parcels was having all the five delivered items of HK to me also with it.

The list is misleading.  :headscratch:

Same with me, but if you see status is "D" it means its delivered. Pl. verify.

Hi all, how about bringing two Lipo batteries to India (Cochin)? I was hoping to bring a HK 6ch packed along a toy car with two 2.2 3s 20c lipo batteries in a Lipo Safe pouch. Anyone ever brought Lipos through our customs?

anwar

Been travelling in and out on India with lipos, so do multiple people I know.  In checked baggage, at storage charge, each lipo wrapped individually in a separate plastic pouch like Zip-Loc bags (so that connectors cannot short at all).  The Lipo safe bag is always a good idea.

Always a good idea to  keep them away from anything sharp, and any liquid bottles.

Point taken :D Will make sure they are properly wrapped and inside the LipoSafe. That saves me some money since I dont have to buy them locally :) Thanks anwar.
