Guys,
Yesterday on Noida field we had a couple of cars entering with folks that I do not see around earlier. They were trying out a grey coloured electric flying wing.

After some time I went around and saw that the bird had a metal (appeared atlest) fuse, foam cored balsa wing. The equipment came packed in cartons that were marked Tata Advanced Systems - Bangalore.

So the point is that whether these guys were trying out for some defense works or are they entering RC in general... Ideas anyone?

nope...
but as I was leaving the field, they took out a ruggedized notebook and setup what appeared to be a ground station of an FPV, so maybe they are entering drone manufacturing....

To increase thrust you need more  money! But to reduce weight you  need nothing!

But I always thought Tata is always interested in real BIG things. The drones must surely be an initiative towards surveillance and defence.
