Title: MERRY CHRISTMAS n my heli dream starts

Hi,

Wishing All my Forum Friends and their families

" MERRY CHRISTMAS "

Installed an OS engine in my new Raptor after the failure of TT engine...The heli is amazingly stable n i hope someday im gonna do lots of 3D with it...Christmas time folks..

Did you open up the TT engine to see what went wrong ?  Was it because of lean runs ?

Is this a 50 size ?

Hi Anwar,

its a 30 size TT...While installing the Os i was with a experienced flyer...He said there is a problem with the carb as there wasnt much change in the response even after all the tinkering....

Shocking incident was the mid air Engine shut off that happened twice ...It came down from 10 feet..n as a beginner i dont want it to happen again...

You should practice auto-rotations, so that you can land the heli safely even if it quits high.

There are lots of reasons why an engine can quit.  Changing an engine should be the last option, hope a thorough investigation was done.

Did you mean the new OS engine has a carb problem ?  You have to take it easy for the break-in anyways.
