This was something that I read about in my school days and of late have been wondering on how apt this is.

A few days weeks back, I slipped an fell on my models as I was preparing to leave for the field on a Sunday morning. This damaged both of them, so have to start build process again.

Also the fall aggravated the lower back problem (L4 & L5 disk issue) and am having difficulty in walking.

To top it all, the car broke down and the entire streering assembly needs to be replaced.

What a run of bad luck......  :banghead:

Probably something was stopping you from going to the field, because of this some bigger misfortune would have been averted( this sounds bu....t to me , what the heck, why not think positive)

Augustin,
You just told the language of one of my GURU.

He was TAPAN KUMAR PAUL, Grade - 1 fitter of Metro Railway Kolkata working under me who told this while his finger cuts down, just laughted and told himself "What a large accident avoided with this small cut".

And I gave him to the position of GURU in my mind when he advised me while hesitating to open-up an sophisticated device "If you fail, you should know that it must be failed in others hand as you have the most detailed knowledge than other and should not fear, but if any one fails due to carelessness, then I have to be sorrow as it may not fail if care should be taken ...."

This language totally gives me confidence and changes me and afterwards I have done several troubleshooting without hesitation and succeeded.

But sad to inform that he died due to kidney failure and without dialysis as Doctor hesitate to send him in another railway hospital even when he gone to COMA. While he removes the hesitation from his friends, he died only due to hesitation.

I still feel his absence from my life.
We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.
