my plan was to take a few of my planes with myself over there just for flying in the meantime
i will be staying in guruvayoor
so what i started off with was i made a stick 3d spad had a ton of coro lying around
and overhauled my easyfly with a motor which makes it go zoom
so here are a few question
can i take rc model airplanes and the electronics with me on a real plane?
i have never tried that has anybody else ?
anybody knows any place there where i could fly there ?
and if i could meet someone over there
all help would be appreciated

I have carried a really small plane , about 800mm wing span . Just carry it in as cabbin baggage in a polythene cover :)
Cabin baggage with electronics or without ?
Or do you mean checked in luggage ?
@subbu - I will be in Kerala only in late July. You can check if Santhosh will be around, he is not too far from there :)
thanks anwar bhaiya will try and contact him
and saheevan did the plane have any electronics that is the only thing i am worried of
I guess electronics would be fine as long as you don't carry the Battery along. I am sure the security check guy will have a big shock... they were startled to see 3 GMRS walkie talkies with me which I was carrying with trekking gear. I was asked to remove the batteries and put in the check-in baggage.
Happy Holidays :D
I carried it in CABBIN baggage with the electronics and a Ni-Mh battery , that time i had no probs , now i guess they've become more strict .
I usually carry my transmitter and electronics and battery in my checked in baggage. However the battery has to be removed from the transmitter and the receiver batteries are also required to be stores seperately from the electronics.
Assembled electronics with Battery in place is a big no since the baggage will not check in, as the security detects them and make you remove the item and show it to them. further they make you remove the batteries from the Tx.
Never tried carrying an assembled plane for fear of breakages. I usually carry them wings detached in a kit form ready to assemble in a box in cabin baggage however very small planes only.
Now I have now flown to Pune with one complete set of gear including tx, batteries, electronics in mid may and now I am going to fly back to Delhi.
