Hi everyone ,
I know this is not related to RC but i still though i could inform you guys what i have been doing .

I mounted an engine on the scooter called Sunny on my cycle .
It took lots of precision to get the engine mounted correctly and aligned correctly
With a few special tools the alignment was made perfect .
I along with a friend welded an engine mount on to the frame of the cycle and mounted the engine finally .
On the afternoon of 15th August (Indipendance day :D ) the bike had its first run . My dad and me started the engine and it ran beautifully .
I will upload the pics and video's later .
;D
Thankyou ,
Sahevaan :)

Neat. You planning on something or is this an experiment of some sort?

Sahevaan

My brother was suggesting something similar with the small engines that we were seeing under the cycle rikshaws in Chennai. Mounting them on little electric ATV style vehicles for kids, which never seem to last more than a few months !  Like the ones you see here : http://www.kidswheels.com

If you have a sunny scooter engine and enough time, better you try to design one self driver aeroplane  :)which can easily take you off the ground. you just have to modify the engine and carburetor, take help of some mechanic buy a beach wood prop install it, kick start the engine and Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......
use aluminum channels which easily available...Suggests to make a hang glider powered by sunny............. {:)} :salute: (:|~

Fly high if you have good set of batteries.....!

Just a thought that you May create some sort of plug and play device with the engine in it, so when you mount it on a bi-cycle and it's ready to go similarly you, take off from the bike mount it on the kart and the Kart is ready to go. I hope you got what I mean. (one of those 3 in one's land ,water and Air RC combos ;D)

Cool! looks awesome.. Some guys had made 2 or 3 of these things with Honda Dio (102cc) engines for the last Carnival here in Goa.. They were easily popping wheelies on them.. I saw one of them still riding it recently even though carnival is long over.. :giggle: Im pretty sure these things are completely non road legal..
