I want to order a few components from Aliexpress. I have decided to add some new feature to the "Arducopter" code base and thus I need some components like KAKUTE F7 with 4 in 1 ESC. I am ordering from Aliexpress for the first time so I need some suggestions.

I have heard that customs have blacklisted Aliexpress and do not allow any parcel even if it is labeled as a gift. If someone knows some turnaround for this, please tell me and it will be helpful for others too. Also what shipping to buy and how to tell the Seller to reduce the invoice price and so. Any suggestions are absolutely welcome.

Also, if someone buys frequently and wish to buy this on behalf of me, it will be great and helpful.

Hi, use the contact button on the product page or the messaging facility in Aliexpress to contact the seller and ask some doubts about the product. If he answers fast (within 6 hours or so), he might be genuine.
Then ask him to declare the products as "Parts & Accessories".  Ask to avoid the words Drone, Quadcopter, RC etc.
Choose Aliexpress standard Shipping. 18-28 days.

I've been ordering from Ali for quite a few years, here's my 2 cents:

If ordering lower value ( say less than $ 20) make sure you select a shipping method which is trackable

Many sellers who ship by regular post don't ever actually ship the material! They keep your money for 60 days, then return it to you. You could well incur double bank charges, as well as lose some due to Forex rates

Happened to me 3 times in the last 1 1/2 years!
