I thought he would make a whole new efficient battery chemistry capable of holding twice the power of our usual ones. ;D
That would have been better for us :) . Electric drone refuling a plane is a somewhat odd but nice idea.
Build planes like feathers rather than tanks, both handle bullets equally well.

Anwar: Solar Panels on the wings? Charge and run during daylight, discharge and run during darkness. Need a pretty big wing though, although at high altitude the solar energy flux is higher
