A pump action will be way too slow and have a crappy range if you use BB pellets like 'buckshot'.I would suggest a semi automatic or fully automatic rifle.

Guns and ballistics is one more of my very loved fields in science.

Hey human, speedracer is from delhi India are you suggesting he get a rifle or automatic without licence which iam sure he doesn't possess ..if he did he wouldn't be asking about a air-gun in a rc forum lol

iamahuman

Yeah that is what I am saying. You can get stuff like this abroad. No idea about it in India.Just gave a suggestion for the type of gun he should be using to shoot an aircraft down.In fact,I would like to suggest afully automatic if you have a bad aim and a semi-automatic if you have a good aim.

AS speedracer said that he will be moving to Canada,
In Canada, air guns with both a high muzzle velocity (greater than 152.4 meters or 500 feet per second) and a high muzzle energy (greater than 5.7 joules or 4.2 foot-pounds) are classified as firearms and must be registered, transported, stored, and used as such. Some air guns are now prohibited in Canada. Any such air guns purchased before December 1, 1998 are grandfathered. Persons committing a crime in Canada with an air gun face the same penalties as if they had committed the crime with a regular firearm.

I think you want something like this. However, if you even THINK that you will use it to damage an RC Model, the members of this forum may come looking for you after they borrow the piece from me! >:D No offence meant, but this kind of discussion is a taboo here. Please refrain.

It is a beautiful piece that I picked up a few years ago. Electric drive. Single shot / Semi Auto / Full Auto settings. Hop up mechanism, spin stabiliser. Double safety - grip and stock. All sights / lasers fully adjustable using allen keys. 1:1 scale. Weight 2700 grams.

Just took this opportunity to show off! :giggle:

I bought this for  :Rs: 5000 about 4 years ago. I think they are now banned in this part of the country because of their scale realism.

I don't think you can import this through Customs. It is a banned item. It can penetrate a 5mm cardboard at ease from a 5 metre range.
