I want to know th purpose of motor gear boxes of coreless motors

For the same kv, a gearbox can handle a larger prop better. Yes it is noisy but does the job.
Here is my model (0716 coreless motor) that need twice as big prop and had to go with a gearbox. Gives authoritative flying with the larger prop and the same capacitor.

Basically a gear box will allow you to drive a larger prop on a smaller motor. A lot of experiments need to done to get the correct, motor, prop, gear ratio and battery combination. Or just use the data that many have published.
