Did anyone notice quadrotors flying in today's IPL match of RCB V/s CSK ...
it had a a black canopy dome shaped and shiny ...with Blue and red LED strips glowing underneath it...
was powered by motors of around 1400KV + golden colored small motors ...had had CF Rod frame..
I beleive there is not much time left when RC flying will gain more and more popularity....and importing of Radios , ARFS ,,and other electronics...will become legal.......days are not far when curious neighbors will be hovering their quads and Tri's outside your window have a sneak peak :giggle: :giggle: :banghead: .......
Are you sure they are quads ? This season, IPL has been using cameras mounted on lines hanging above the field, to capture action from the top. These cameras can be moved around. Here is some news about these "spider" cams.

I think in some match at bangalore there was an electric buggy. Not sure if anyone noticed it. Great publicity for the RC hobby:)
Yes, there was an XTM Rail buggy.. Not the best in the world, but hey.. Buggy is a buggy.. :)
Wonder why it doesn't make it to the track. If a slash 4x4 is needed,Divyam and I are there. ;D
i was there for the match.. the buggy was used to carry drinks to the players during the breaks :) ! and the flying machine was not a quad.. it had 5 or 6 rotors!! whatever u call it ;D ! they hovered it right in front of me :)
Penta/Hexa Rotor if not Quad???
