The Traxxas Stampede saves 6 lives in Afghanistan.The news article.

Maybe traxxas can start selling a stripped out version to the military.

RC cars have been used by the US military for years. The Maxx series was modded and used as a mine detector and camera earlier.

Right.Forgot about that one.

500$ rc cars seem like a better alternative compared to hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on IED clearing equipment.
