Hey ,

So I am a novice and have just started building my first ever quad . On suggestion of a friend and seeing reviews here I went and placed my order with rc mumbai for transmitter and fc . Both of which turned out faulty . They have tested all limits of my patience in the quest to get a replacement and are being extremely uncooperative

Just wanted to know if it's only me with this experience or do we have some more souls like me around

Recently, I was too looking to buy components for my first quad and the first site I considered was RC Mumbai but their prices were quite high so I skipped it.
Next day they added that banner where no guarantee and no return & replacement policy was  mentioned.
Then, I realized that if I get a defective product then they won't return-refund me giving the base of the policy of their site.
So , I started looking other reliable site and found IndianRobostore.com & Flyurself.com .
Today, I felt relieved to know your experience that I saved myself from this trouble which I thought I would face.

I brought a lot of products recently from rcmumbai and the every product is working well. I know there prices are high comparing to international market prices but considering the probability of custom charges it's better to buy from local stores. One exception is that they are selling the fatshark hdo2 for 50k, the same goggles on bangood it shows for 46k. I am quite sure, If you import these goggles then you have to pay 46k + 40% extra custom charges, obviously it will go about 50k ( Hope they will keep same price).
And about the no return or refund policy, based on my experience I have not seen any store that's ready to provide any kind of warranty or replacement or refund except bangood. But again to have warranty on bangood means you will have to arrange the export again and again clear customs for import, a lot of headache.

I am glad you had a good experience unlike me .... Their price was never a matter of concern for me atleast in the first place their service and product sent was ... And just for your reference robou, quadkopters etc are still maintaining their exchange policy in case of manufacturing defect 🙂

Yep that's true that robu.in and quadkopers.com has refund policy and they will help you.

I had experience with robu.in for pixhawk and they did helped a lot. Even they have proper customer support to solve your query.

While a back ago, I ordered on quadkopters.com but had  delivery issues and they did informed me about the same and refunded the money.

While about the rcmumbai, I have read few google reviews and one of the threads of rcmumbai on rcindia that the owner of rcmumbai handles all the store himself and no other staff is  there. There is no customer care at all. That's why he replies late whenever he is busy somewhere else. Well I am not sure how much of this is correct about rcmumbai !!!!

The google review tells the same situation that they won't help you once product is shipped they will not look into the matter because there is no customer support only the owner handles it. So it's not only you but there are few out there who had to face same problems.

Recently they must have got a lot of customer issues against the refund or replacement that's why the new  headline on website for no refund no replacement policy.
